Mount Horeb Mom's Group Newsletter-September 3, 2008
Our Mission Statement- To support the profession of mothering by offering education, resources and networking opportunities along with meeting a mom’s social needs.
Hello Everyone,
Welcome to another year of the Mt. Horeb Moms Group! Hopefully you had a great summer enjoying many fun times with friends and family. As usual, it always seems to fly by so quickly and here we are in September already!
Through our monthly topics, we hope to fulfill our mission: To support the profession of mothering and meet mom’s social, emotional and spiritual needs.
We have quite a few opportunities for socializing outside of the Moms Group meeting times and there has been discussion about creating a cookbook for fundraising as well.
As you can see, we have a busy and fun year ahead of us. We look forward to seeing everyone again as well as welcoming new members!
Please note that we are no longer meeting in the previous spot. We are now going to meet at Life Church which is located at 2770 Brandywein Trail. The time is still the same: 8:45-10:30.
Take care and see you soon!Emily, Rachael and Renee

Welcome to our group:
We meet the second Tuesday of each month for discussion from 8:45-10:30 a.m. NOW at Life Church, 2770 Brandywein Trail on the west end of Mt. Horeb off of Main Street after Irv’s Feed on the right. We will have the sign-in book and name tags available near the entrance before you make your way to drop off your children. We will be meeting in the café, which is straight down the hall from the entrance. The nursery is just down the hall from the café on the left and so is the preschool room. We will gather at 8:45 to get the children situated and start our discussion meetings at 9:00 a.m.
Dues: The dues will continue to be $10 for the year. The dues help to cover childcare costs, snacks, crafts, postage, supplies etc. Please pay your dues to the treasurer.
Childcare Coverage: We ask that each member sign up at least once for coverage in the nursery and preschool class during our meetings. We will have a sign-up sheet for all the meetings at the September meeting. We need a minimum of 4 people to assist with childcare each month.
